York EMC Services Ltd, a subsidiary company of the University of York, is a leading provider of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electrical safety and telecoms services with a domestic and international client base, and has four sites in the UK. The company performs accredited testing, technical consultancy, development of innovative EMC test equipment and provides EMC CPD and training.

Initial salary circa £15,000 to £25,000 p.a. (dependent on qualifications & experience) + excellent contributory final salary pension
We are inviting applications from candidates educated to HND level or above in an electrical engineering/related discipline for the position of Senior Test Technician or Test Technician (depending on experience). Charged by the Laboratory Manager with carrying out a range of testing (LVD and/or EMC) within our UKAS Accredited laboratory and at customers’ sites. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to their work and a desire to learn and progress in a customer driven environment, together with good interpersonal skills and a full EU driving licence.

Based in Soundwell, Bristol with occasional travel, the position and the initial salary offered will be in the region of £15k to £25k per annum dependent on qualifications/experience. A contributory final salary pension scheme is also offered.
